Simple and Fun Craft for Kids: Painting Snow & Ice

Need a way to entertain your crew outside this summer when it is super hot or inside when it is super cold? This easy and fun snow and ice cube painting craft is the way to go!

Supplies:

1. Snow or Ice Cubes
2. Water Color Paints
3. Paint Brush
4. Plastic Cup with water
5. Plastic Tote for snow or ice
6. Paper towels or old towel
7. Optional: placemat or craft mat

Directions:

1. Place ice cubes into a plastic bowl or tub on top of placemat or craft mat.
2. Put water into water cup for easy rinsing of the paintbrush.
3. Using the watercolors, paint any design or paint randomly. This is a perfect opportunity
   to talk about primary and secondary colors as well as mixing colors to create colors.
4. Easily rinse your ice or gather new ice to create new projects.
5. Freeze to save!
