Here is a cute and mostly easy gift for our special Grandma’s out there from her Bee-Bee’s!
Supplies:
- Canvas bag
- Yellow and black fabric paint
- Old cardboard piece
- Paper plate
- Paint brush (optional)
- Tiny hands or fingers
Directions:
- Wash canvas bag and allow to dry
- Place a piece of cardboard inside of bag to prevent paint from soaking to other side of bag
- Put yellow paint onto a paper plate
- Paint kiddos hand yellow and place hand onto bag
- Optional: Try a fingerprint for smaller hands
- Wash hands immediately with soap and water
- Allow handprint to dry
- Repeat with all hands
- Once prints are dry, add on the black stripes, faces, wings and antennas.
- Allow to dry
- We choose to add each child’s initials at the bottom of each bee along with the year. Our 4 year old chose to add a bandaid on his bee.
- Allow bag to completely dry before gifting it to Grandma!
Optional: write a cute description on the bag such as ‘Grandma’s Bee-Bee’s’!
